hi, i’m casey!
the creative behind lion and lane
I am a formally-trained graphic designer, proficient in layout design and passionate about helping others communicate. I began my career in editorial design with a major book publisher. I continued to freelance with publishers and best-selling authors, developing a passion for creating beautiful & efficient layouts. My first stationery design was published to Minted in January 2010, genuinely delighting this lifelong paper lover! Soon after, I was recruited to design photo cards for Snapfish, where I was able to share my original artwork and creations with a wider audience.
Two decades of professional experience has made me a creative & collaborative problem solver. When I’m not busy working from my home studio outside of Houston, Texas I love playing board games & card games, brunching with friends, and watching my two boys play flag football.
